AUGUST 2009 NEWS LETTER
OLD BUSINESS:
Sprinkler update: Steve Nuxoll has
repaired the sprinklers but still
has to install the new 8 station
timer. He needs to trench the line
to do this and if anyone has a
trencher or access to one please
contact an officer and we will
coordinate with Steve to use it. He
offered to do it by hand but it sure
would be nice to use equipment.
Rod
Marshall moved to put the amount
that we received for the old tractor
plus $1000 out of the tractor fund
towards the tractor loan in order to
bring the balance down faster and to
avoid paying more interest on the
loan. It was approved to do this.
New Business:
The
motion was made not to have a
required age for royalty, and that
it should be based on who is the
most qualified and then determine
queen and princess. The motion was
passed and seconded. This must be
voted on 2 more times, so if you do
not agree you must come to a meeting
and vote.
WE WILL BE HAVING A MEETING MONDAY
AUGUST 17TH AT THE CLUB
HOUSE AT 7:00 PM TO DISCUSS OUR FALL
EVENTS. WE ARE TRYING TO HAVE A
TEAM PENNING, TRAIL CHALLENGE, HORSE
SHOW AND OMOKSEE THIS FALL. WE NEED
PEOPLE TO HELP WITH THESE EVENTS AND
THE TRAIL CHALLENGE REQUIRES A
COMMITTEE TO ORGANIZE. IF YOU HAVE
INPUT OR CAN HELP PLEASE COME TO
THIS MEETING.
